Compounds based on "Pliovic" latex 300 can be applied to backing materials by any of the usual coating methods. Brushing, spraying, or saturating techniques may also be employed. After coating, water must be removed from the film by drying at 212'F. or less.
To achieve satisfactory physical properties, it is necessary to fuse the dried film. Fusion can be obtained at 275'F. However, shorter fusion cycles of 1 to 5 minutes are possible by heating at 300 to 450'F. |
