Spontaneous Resin Emulsion |
配方组成: |
Where no colloid mill is available and an emulsion of wide particle-size range is satisfactory, spontaneous resin emulsions may be prepared by using formulae such as No.1 and 2 that follow. A procedure for preparing this type of resin emulsion is: Step 1. Dissolve the resin in the solvent at room temperature and then add the oleic acid. Best results are obtained when this resin solution has a viscosity of 25 to 35 poises at room temperature. The cited proportions of resin and solvent should give a viscosity falling within this range. Step 2. Prepare the potassium hydroxide solution by dissolving the indicated amount of solid potassium hydroxide in the water specified, or by appropriate dilution of a more concentrated potassium hydroxide solution, to give the 2.5% solution indicated. Step 3. Slowly add the potassium hydroxide solution to the resin solution while stirring vigorously, preferably by a power-driven stirrer, until a viscous |
