Small amounts of "Ethoquad" C/25 and "Ethoquad" 18/25 have been found to increase the brightness of copper plating in commercial applications. "Ethoquad" 18/25 and "Ethoquad" C/25 can also be used to control fumes in chrome plating operations. Their mild foaming characteristics act as a fume suppressor.
Add a small amount of "Arquad" 2C-75 to control foam at the end of the detinning operation, where metallic tin is removed from the base metal with a caustic solution. |
