(Residual Lubricants) The fabric should be clean and virtually free of lubricants (less than 0.25% on the goods) before dyeing. If prescouring is to be done in the jet machine, nonfoaming detergents such as "Tanapon" LCE, Tanapon NF or "Tanapon" INF should be used. (Air Leaks) The jet dyeing machine must be properly sealed and checked for air leaks. If not eliminated, leaks can cause foaming problems. (Dyes) High foaming disperse dyes should be avoided whenever possible (check dye manufacturers for data on dyestuff foaming properties). In cases where a high foaming color must be used, the use of "Nofome" J, a stabilized modified silicone defoamer, or "Nofome" NS, a nonsilicone defoamer, will effectively suppress the foam. (pH Adjustment) Buffer salts such as monosodium phosphate are not recommended for pH adjustment. Acetic is preferred for controlling the pH, since it does not affect foam levels. (Dispersing Agents

配制方法: |
(Prescour) When prescouring on the jet machine, use 1 g/l "Tanapon" NF or "Tanapon" LCE or "Tanapon" INF plus 1 g/l TSPP, soda ash or caustic soda. Run for 20 minutes at 140'F. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. (Dyeing) Set dyebath cold (below 100'F.) with "Tanavol" APJ. Run 5 minutes and add disperse dyes. Note: If high foaming dyes are used, add "Nofome" J or "Nofome" NS to suppress foam. Adjust pH to 4.5-5.0 with acetic acid. Raise temperature at 2-3'F per minute to 250'F and hold for 45 minutes to one hour. Adds, if needed, can be made at 180-190'F. When on shade, cool slowly to 160-140'F and overflow rinse until cool and clear. Dry and finish in the usual manner. |
