    The sweetness of jelly is determined by the sugar contributed by the juice and the level of non-nutritive sweetener added. Sweetener level largely depends on the manufacturer's desires.
    It is important to remember that if calcium is contributed by the sweetener, it must be calculated into the total figure for added calcium.
    If sodium salts are used instead of the calcium salts of the sweeteners, the calcium requirement must be satisfied completely by other calcium salts
