heat the castor oil, "Pentalyn and wax to 300'F and then sprinkle in the ethyl cellulose. Increase the heat to 375'F and add the iron oxide and octyl phenol. The ingredients can be mixed in a tall cylindrical beaker or test tube and the screw-driver bit placed in the molten plastic. Place in 350'F oven to get rid of air bubbles, then take it out, and allow it to cool, and break away the glass container. This will produce a tough well-rounded handle. |
