"Vancide" 89RE in this formula showed excellent stability when tested after eight months at room temperature. These formulations are being considered for dandruff control. Larger amounts of oil may be required for a hairdressing formula. Similar formulations should be useful as deodorants, and as preparations for athlete's foot.
This formula was tested on leather, cotton and paper for control of fungi as a test for antimildew properties. Control of fungal growth was observed for 56 days on all three materials, and for 113 days on cotton and paper. |
