To prepare 100 pounds: Prepare the 50% TEA Oleate. Mix 4.9 pounds of water and 1.7 pounds of triethanolamine. heat to 70'C, add to 3.2 pounds of oleic acid at 70'C.
Mix until uniform and cool, and add to "Sipon" LT6 which is at 80'C.
Mixture will be lumpy, but when water is added the lumps will break. Add water at 80'C, mix, and maintain temperature for 10 minutes. Cool to 50'C separately, mix oleyl alcohol, propylene glycol, perfume, and add this to the mix. |
