The "Cellogen" premix is first prepared in a good mixer. The ingredients
"Pliovic" AO/85
of the plastisol are thoroughly mixed in a Hobart or equivalent mixer.
"Surfex"/30
The compound is then cast, usually in thin sheets, and fused at 350 to
400'F. for 1 to 10 minutes. The length of time depends on the
efficiency of the fusion equipment. The higher the fusion temperature,
the more effective is the blow. Radiant or electronic heat should give
the best results.
The compound should expand on blowing three to four times to yield a
finished product having a density of approximately 20 lb. per cu. ft.
