Floor Polish Stripper Concentrates |

Phosphoric acid (85%)/1
Mix the solvent with the "Igepal" CO-730. Add the phosphoric acid
with stirring.
These formulations, diluted (1:40 to 1:50) with hot watr (120 to 140'F),
will readily remove the alkali-resistant, acid-sensitive polishes. use
in a manner similar to that employed with ordinary alkaline-based wax
strippers. For example, apply the hot solution of diluted stripper to
the floor. With brushes or stripping machines, work the stripping
solution into the polish film. The film readily disintegrates. Mop up
the residue without allowing the floor to dry. Rinse the floor
thoroughly with warm watr and mop dry. One gallon of dilute stripper
will remove approximately 500 sq. of old polish.
